Cocaine Use Checklist

1. Educate Yourself: Make sure you have thoroughly researched and understand the effects and risks associated with cocaine use.
2. Trusted Companion: Identify a reliable person who will keep an eye on you and look out for your well-being during the experience.
3. Plan Ahead: Decide in advance where you will be, what you will be doing, and who you will be with. Ideally, choose a familiar and safe location.
4. Legal Awareness: Be aware that cocaine is highly illegal. Know your rights and understand the potential legal consequences if caught by the police.
5. Avoid Alcohol: Drinking alcohol while using cocaine increases consumption of both substances, making the experience more expensive. This combination can also lead to accidents and serious health issues, as it produces a toxic chemical called coca-ethylene in your body, which can damage the heart, liver, and brain.
6. Cocaine Purity: Cocaine purity has significantly increased in the US, UK, and globally in recent years. If it’s your first time or you’re using a new supply, start with a small ‘test’ line and wait a few hours before re-dosing.
7. Use Your Own Straw: If snorting cocaine, use your own straw to prevent cross-contamination.
8. Chewing Gum: Keep some gum handy to help reduce teeth grinding.
9. Stay Hydrated: Ensure you have access to water and other non-alcoholic drinks to stay well hydrated.
10. Plan for Aftercare: Avoid scheduling any important commitments, appointments, or responsibilities for the days following your cocaine use, as you may feel low and anxious.
11. Sleep Considerations: Cocaine can disrupt sleep, and several days without adequate rest can worsen the comedown.
12. Mental and Physical Well-being: Ensure you are in a good mental state and feel physically well before using cocaine. If you start feeling anxious or panicky, remember that these effects are usually short-lived and tend to subside after about 30 minutes.
13. Medication Interactions: If you are taking any medications, such as antidepressants, be aware that they may interact with cocaine and increase the likelihood of unwanted effects. Cocaine can also exacerbate mental health symptoms.
14. Seek Help if Needed: It’s okay to tell someone if you’re not feeling right or if you’re worried about anything during or after your cocaine experience.
